The Ukraine Horticulture Development Project is sponsored by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and run by Mennonite Economic Development Associates. The project seeks to strengthen capacity building of farmers and encourage fair value chain market linkages. The project provides technical assistance and knowledge for farmers in both the agricultural development of the product and to develop sustainable partner relationships with purchasers of agricultural products. ACM works together with the project by providing the loans necessary for farmers to generate greater amounts of income on small plots of land. (Russian) (English)

Association of Farmers and Land Owners of Crimea The Association is a public non-profit organization that voluntarily unites land owners and tenants, small and medium farmers, green tourism developers, cooperatives, NGOs that deal with agribusinesses, form rural infrastructure, serve farm production, use land for agricultural production, storage and processing purposes.


“Agro- Tavria” is the Extension Service Organization, was created in 1996 as a NGO. It is a department of Tavria State Agrotechnological University (TSAU) of Melitopol. The activity of the organization is directed to meet needs of people related to agricultural production: farmers, land plot owners, local leaders and agrospecialists. “Agro-Tavria” organizes seminars, trainings, field days to provide agricultural producers with high quality and up-to-date information for new opportunities, agrotechnologies and market tendencies.
